⭕️2 - ISKRA - ANNIHILATOR

Hello everyone!
I am pleased to present to you my coursework on creature design.
It was a group project in which 13 people took part under the guidance of mentor Nikolay Tsys. My task in the project was to develop the design of the Annihilator. The Annihilator is a creature containing a large charge of a chemical substance capable of destroying an entire spaceship along with its passengers.

In the darkness of space Iskra is moving to its destination with a hope of humanity as its cargo crew of 13, molded to their stations.

The ship is moving forward. It carries a small human future.

Deep inside the ship, something else is lurking. Annihilator.
This is not a weapon. Not quite.

This is part of the ship. A dark organ in the uterine compartment.

Only a faint impulse. Like a heartbeat.

Only a long, agonizing wait.

Inside it, there is enough matter to make the ship disappear along with all traces of its existence.

It awakens when the mission no longer needs to continue.

No one ever would see the Annihilator in action, only fading dust after his work is complete.

Only the final countdown remains, like a prayer that no one taught them.

And then the darkness takes everything, leaving the cosmos only the memory of something that never existed.
